Its not the alcohol industry.
It s the government them selves.
They make heaps of money from exise tax on alcohol but they do not want to be seen to be profitereing from social probs so they do some crummy anti alcohol campain to brain wash us into thinking they are trying to do the right thing.

Well why shouldn’t they be allowed to advertise? It isn’t their fault that the gov places these stupid laws on people. So I can vote, I can be drafted and die for my country…but I can’t drink a beer when I get back from Iraq?

Binge drinking isn’t a big problem in other countries with no drinking age, or a younger drinking age.

It’s being undermined by the minimum drinking age, and the government scaring parents into never education og even talking to their kids about drinking. Today in America “talking to your kids about drinking” simply means “how do you tell them not to do it no matter what” and that’s just stupid since no one is going to do that on their 21st birthday. Kids should learn about it at home at the dinner table, but the government has terrorized it into taboo.
